Water Conservation
We live in changing times and the painting industry has to clearly understand that there is a growing association between pride in ones work and a company's environmental practices. When you use water wisely you help the environment. John Crawford Painting introduced a water action plan in 2004. Central to that plan was an eco friendly painters wash system launched with the logo Every Drop Counts. On average it takes 30-35 liters of water to clean a 270mm roller and tray, and 4-8 liters to clean a 75mm brush and pot. If you take into consideration how many times a painter cleans up in an ordinary day, multiply that by days of the week and the weeks in a year, you start to get an appreciation of just how much clean water is getting wasted every year. And this is why John Crawford Painting has made such a commitment to a more sustainable approach to water use and conservation.
